1. Agreement to these terms
By downloading, accessing, or using Talk Trial, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. What Talk Trial does
Talk Trial is a private speaking practice app that helps users rehearse interviews, presentations, pitches, salary conversations, networking introductions, feedback conversations, and similar real-world speaking moments.
The app may create practice transcripts and feedback such as pace, filler word counts, clarity, and presence scores. These results are for personal practice and self-improvement only.
3. Subscriptions and purchases
Talk Trial may offer auto-renewable subscriptions, including Talk Trial Pro Monthly and Talk Trial Pro Yearly. Prices, subscription duration, and any available introductory offers are shown in the app and in the App Store purchase confirmation before you subscribe.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your Apple Account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.
- Any unused portion of a free trial may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
4. No guaranteed outcome
Talk Trial is a practice and coaching tool. It does not guarantee employment, promotions, salary increases, admission decisions, business outcomes, public speaking results, or any other specific real-world result.
5. Your practice content
You are responsible for the content you speak, type, or save while using the app. Do not use Talk Trial to create unlawful, harmful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or infringing content.
6. Privacy
Talk Trial is designed without accounts, advertising identifiers, or a developer-operated backend. Details about microphone use, speech recognition, local storage, purchases, and deletion are explained in the Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual property
Talk Trial, including its app design, text, graphics, icons, and software, is owned by the developer or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the app or its content to you.
8. Apple App Store terms
Talk Trial is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your use of the app is also subject to Apple Media Services terms and applicable App Store rules, including Apple-managed purchase, refund, and subscription processes.
9. Disclaimer
Talk Trial is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, or loss of data arising from your use of Talk Trial.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms when the app changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
